Club Riga "Dinamo" adds Lee Sweatt

23-year-old American Lee Sweatt has joined the Kontinental Hockey League's Riga "Dinamo", according to the club's official home page. Informs Leta.
Sweatt, a defenseman, previously played for EC "Red Bull Salzburg", and before that for TPS in the Finnish SM-liiga. According to Wikipedia, Sweatt was born August 13, 1985 in Elburn, Illinois. He played in the United States Hockey League for the Chicago "Steel" before playing for Colorado College. He turned pro during the 2006-07 AHL season, playing 11 games for the San Antonio "Rampage". He signed for TPS in 2007. His younger brother, Bill Sweatt, was drafted by the Chicago "Blackhawks" in the 2007 NHL Entry Draft and currently plays for Colorado College.
Sweatt was a member of the United States national men's inline hockey team at the 2008 Men's World Inline Hockey Championships. The United States finished fourth in the competition, losing to Germany in the Bronze Medal Game. Sweatt registered four goals and four assists in six games for the Americans on his way to being named the Best Defenseman of the tournament
