The restaurant opened its doors almost five years ago, but we were delighted to note that the quality of service, interior and wide choice of dishes has since become even better.
There are two cozy little rooms to choose from, but overall the interior exudes a buzzing spirit of classic Italy. Suitably enough, the waiters were unobtrusive and helpful.

After a little reflection we ordered breast of duck with green pepper and Gorgonzola sauce (18.50 Eur), followed by hot chocolate cake with vanilla sauce (6.50 Eur) and tea with lemon (3.00 Eur).

The duck was amazing, juicy and not over-fried, and the saturated colors and taste of the sauce perfectly complemented the dish. As for the dreamy chocolate cake, it has now taken an honored place in our treasured list of Riga's most delicious desserts.
The only Italian thing you can't eat at Da Antonio is pizza, because, as the owners of the restaurant told us, a pizzeria is an entirely different class of restaurant.
