Riga Christmas fairs

Two holiday fairs have opened in Old Town Riga - one on Livu Square, the other on Dome Square.

A third one will open in Vermanes Garden Park on December 18 informs Leta.

Riga Mayor Nils Usakovs yesterday lit one of the city's main Christmas trees. The fair on Dome Square will operate until January 10, and there will be entertainment each weekend. The fair on Livu Square opened this morning, but it will enjoy its official opening on Second Advent next weekend.
