"Aldaris" becomes general sponsor of Latvian Ice Hockey Federation

The LHF and "Aldaris" have been partners the past seven years.

Tthe Latvian Ice Hockey Federation (LHF) signed a three-year sponsorship deal with Latvian brewery "Aldaris", which therefore becomes the LHF's general sponsor.
"We will be cooperation partners for ten years already. Within the framework of our cooperation, we have not only supported the national men's ice hockey team, but also youth ice hockey," said the brewery's chairwoman of the board Inara Sure, who pointed out that ice hockey in Latvia is like basketball in Lithuania and football in England. "We have agreed on cooperation that is mutually beneficial for the next three years. Already now, I know that we will gain from this, as well as Latvian ice hockey as a whole."

On the other hand, the president of the LHF Kirovs Lipmans admitted that cooperation volumes do not have specific borders. "When there are better times, we expect more, however, when our partners are going through harder times, we expect less. The most important is the fact that "Aldaris" is a sponsor which we can count on," Lipmans said.

Cooperation between the LHF and "Aldaris" began in 2002, as the brewery has donated a total of LVL 350,000 over these years to develop ice hockey in Latvia.
