International short film festival "2 Annas"By RigaNOW!. 24.05.2010From May 25-29, Riga cinemas, clubs and cafes will host the international film festival "2 Annas".This is the fourth year of the festival, which shows the newest international short films and also looks at the latest developments in short film making in the Baltics. The theme of this year's festival is "Renaissance 2010" ("Renesanse 2010"), which can be understood as a re-birth and return to human values, relationships and classical cinema forms, encompassing the unrealised power and abilities of the mind. All events at the "Nabaklab" night club and "Taka" cafe will be free of charge, while other tickets will be available for just LVL 2 or 2.10 at the box offices of the cinemas "Riga" and "K.Suns". |
