The techno and furniture giant Elkor, which moved to bigger space has left its initial building on Brīvības 201 for the luxury goods department store Podium. So now, while men will be busy shopping for high tech gadgets, the ladies will keep their eyes on the latest fashion trends in clothing, furniture and interior design.
Podium promises to be the largest fashion and interior center in the Baltics, having stretched over 5 floors with the total space of 11,000 m2. Now there is no need to fly to other shopping capitals to stock up on designer clothing and home collections, as Podium contains more than 100 up-scale brands. A must mention - the opening of the shop was a red-carpet event in itself.
The concept of the elegant interior is to make shopping a truly luxurious and pleasing experience, providing the customer with top-notch comfort, service and quality of products.
On the first floor you will find refined interior details, textiles, table wear and business gift by Versace, Christian Fischbacher, Missoni, Silit and many others. The second floor is a paradise for fashionistas, who highly value Roberto Cavalli, Moschino, Trussardi, Missoni, Ermannio Scervino, Alessandro Dell’Acqua clothes and accessories. The third floor offers exclusive furniture pieces in classical style by the world’s leading designers: Baxter, Fratelli Boffi, Bizzotto, while on the two upper floors modern and futuristic furnishings by Bonaldo, Lema, Desire, Tonin Casa, Moroso, Horm, Laura Meroni are at your choice. Podium also introduces a few new brands for the Latvian market - Valcucine kitchens, Joop and Devon Devon sanitary equipment not to be found anywhere else in Latvia. The top floor also houses a chic Italian restaurant.
In the future Podium plans to organize interior design seminars for professionals, serving as a forum for the ideas exchange and latest trends identifying.
