A non-obtrusive, calm interior in pale colors. The menu offers contemporary international cuisine. Live jazz performances run every evening. The club’s designer set out to recreate the ‘essence of the 1940 New York improvisation bar, with it’s characteristic vibes, which can be found through a mixture of coffee, cigarettes and jazz (and good cognac!).’ This latest addition to Riga’s music scene gets it right. The musicians start kicking at 8:00 p.m. every night; check ahead for reservations if you want a table. There is no cover charge, and you’ll hear Latvia’s own best jazz musicians.
