There is only one train station in the capital of Latvia. It is located in the centre of city, 5 minutes walking distance from the Old Town next to the bus station.

International railway connects Riga with Moscow, St.Petersburg, Vilnius, Odessa, Kiev, Minsk, Vitebsk. Unfortunatelly service still has a strong Soviet flavor.
