A new bar-cafe with a bit of a weird name, Muklājs (Bog) opened recently close to the city center but has already become one of the top venues for open-minded Rigans.

In proportion to the petite space, the menu is also not particularly wide ranging, but everything is created with care and meets the highest expectations of quality. The menu starts with light snacks and moves onto delicious dishes such as tench roasted in garlic butter (€7). But one of the top homemade delights is pork medalions served with chocolate sauce (€7). Sweet-teeth can indulge in cakes (apparently carrot pie is the favorite) although we opted for the "tastiest cheesecake in Riga" at €3.
