A summery and spacious new restaurant, Nekādu problēmu ("no problems"), has opened in the very heart of Old Town, right on Doma Square.
The owner of this lovely spot, Ugis and director Ilvars, told us that they focus on quality cooking for a reasonable price, plus live music performances in the evenings and a jovial atmosphere.
There's an open kitchen where you can to keep an eye on the chef artistically preparing your meal as you enjoy one of more than 20 beers on offer.
All the ingredients are delivered fresh, the owners reassured, so that whenever you come you can always bet on high-quality dishes. For us, the chef prepared sea bass with spicy Mediterranean salad (€ 9.7) and it melted in our mouths.
Bands play every night until 23:00, but if you visit No Problems on a Friday or Saturday night you'll be able to enjoy the atmosphere of seeing locally famous rock and pop stars performing.
