The owners have added a real Italian flavor to the place, especially regarding the menu and interior. Finally Riga has some good pizza to cheer about. Pomadora strives to make great tasting pizza from all Italian ingredients delivered to your table in less than 10 minutes. The owners of the newly opened restaurant said they saw a gap in the pizza market. They claim that none of the other restaurants that serve pizza and pastas are truly Italian, and were lacking that special something that makes Italian food and service so unique.
Upon entering Pomadora we found head manager Iacopo sing along to Italian pop songs behind the bar. He says he likes to create an atmosphere that he is used to in Italian lunch eateries that is fun and friendly. He does admit that some of the locals are first put off by his outwardly friendliness, but says the soon come around to his charm.
