Steven Holcomb's USA-1 finished in first place, 0.50 seconds ahead of Latvia-1, informs Leta. Rueegg of Switzerland was second, Lyndon Rush of Canada captured the bronze.
Latvia-2, piloted by Edgars Maskalans with pushers Pavels Tulubljevs, Raivis Broks and Mihails Arhipovs, finished in overall 12th place. Latvia-1 has now dropped to second place in the overall standings, with USA-1 now in first. This season's Bobsled World Cup will be made up of eight stages, with the final stage taking place in January in Austria, which will also be the European Championship.
The Bobsled World Cup season will be followed by the Vancouver Winter Olympic Games.
